Specs of which already started leaking out a few days ago won't come as a surprise for many, but do include as expected, Intel's Thunderbolt technology. The Thunderbolt pipeline is more than 12 times faster than FireWire 800 and up to 20 times faster than USB 2.0.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro now features a 2.3GHz Intel Core i5 processor or the faster dual-core processor — the 2.7GHz Intel Core i7. With Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.4GHz, of which Apple claims will offer double the speed of the previous generation. The new 15 and 17-inch models feature a 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor — with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.4GHz and up to 8MB of shared L3 cache.

All models feature the Intel HD Graphics 3000 processor, which switches to an AMD Radeon graphics processor with up to 1GB of dedicated GDDR5 video memory.
