I just saw the new medea movie, it was funny. There were a lot of people in the theater which is normally rare unless it is a popular movie. I liked how Tyler perry played two roles, it made the movie seem very interesting. The type of humor was not ratted R, as it is a pg 13 movie. This movie is probably a 3/5.

I'm very surprised, although have the previous Madea movies been rated around PG-13. Perhaps I am just recalling them a bit incorrectly. If you're interested I definitely recommend seeing some of the plays through Redbox or some sort of rental service. I am not certain how often Redbox offers them, but they are a good watch too. Although they are more in line with the other works Tyler Perry does that can be quite serious and have a bit of drama. If the comedy is the only part you enjoy they may not be as great. However, Madea does tend to make an appearance in most giving a good taste of humour as usual. Glad to know the movie was good! Thanks! I will have to see if my family and friends would like to go out and see it now sometime this summer.

I just can't bring myself to supporting most of Tyler Perry's work. I just think he goes for the stereotype way too often and considering how he now has the clout and finances to only put out really good programming, the fact that he doesn't, is disappointing.
