A mobile style would be good, think it would make browsing easier on a mobile device

That's quite a big ask for phpbb. Its pretty hard to make, unless you know what you are doing. If you use something such as and Iphone or Ipod Touch you can download apps just made for browsing and posting on a phpbb forum.

May I suggest installing the profile comments mod or UPS?

I have found a MOD that includes a mobile style, just not got round to installing it as yet.
